RDC to develop Filladhoo roads, MVR 77 million project

On Sunday, the Road Development Corporation (RDC) was awarded the project to modernize the roads in H.A. Filladhoo.

The project was handed over at a total cost of MVR 77.1 million.

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure said that under the agreement, the main roads in Filladhoo will be modernised. The project is expected to be completed in two years.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the ministry by Minister of State Hassan Rasheed. The agreement was signed on behalf of RDC by its Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem.

The ministry said that the project will provide long-term benefit for the people of Filladhoo. The development of roads will improve the quality of life and make commuting easier, the ministry said.

On August 7th, the Ministry finalized agreements with RDC to modernize roads across 11 islands in Maldives.
