Gadhdhoo man arrested with 96 grams of drugs

The police have arrested a man with over 96 grams of drugs in a counter-narcotics operation in GDh. Gadhdhoo.

According to the police, the operation was run on Sunday based on an intel report of a drug trafficking and peddling racket in Gadhdhoo.

The police identified the suspect arrested in the case as Ali Nasir, 38, Fahaage, GDh. Gadhdhoo.

“A substance believed to be drugs was found during a court warranted arrest and search of his person,” said a spokesperson.

The drugs found on his person weighs 96.45 grams.

He was presented before the Gadhdhoo Magistrate Court, which remanded him in custody of the police for 15 days.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
