Woman wanted for questioning on suspicion of beating a child

The police have issued a public summons for a woman wanted for questioning in an investigation into the assault of a child.

According to an announcement posted by the police on Monday morning, Shafra Abdulla Adam, 25, Dhilaavaruge, GDh. Gadhdhoo, is wanted for questioning in connection to an investigation into the “beating and assault of a child.”

The police said that her current whereabouts were unknown, leading to the police being unable to deliver the summons in person.

Shafra has been asked to present herself for questioning at 10:00 am on September 2 to the Sergeant Adam Haleem Criminal Investigation Building or the GDh. Gadhdhoo Police Station.
