Customs seizes MVR 2.5mn in cocaine

Maldives Customs Service has seized a package containing drugs worth MVR 2.5 million smuggled into Maldives through a courier service. In a statement on Monday, Customs said the drugs were discovered during inspection of a suspicious package that was transported into the Maldives via a courier service on April 27. The drugs in the package weigh 1,020 grams, and tested positive for
