Pres. Muizzu returns after concluding unofficial visit to UK

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed returned to the Maldives on Friday after concluding an unofficial visit to the Maldives.

The first couple traveled to the UK on November 21st.

The President’s Office, on Friday, said the couple have returned to the Maldives this evening. Henceforth, the unofficial visit spanned a week. 

No details regarding the visit have been disclosed by the President’s Office as it did not concern the President’s official duties.

Prior to this, the President’s Office has stated that all expenses related to the trip, including those associated with administrative duties, as well as family and personal matters, would be covered by President Muizzu himself.

The President has previously traveled to Singapore on unofficial visits.
