Prominent MDP activists summoned to police

Fathimath Shiuna and Mariyam Zubair, two prominent activists of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) have been summoned to the police as part of an ongoing investigation. Both are being summoned for participating and hosting protests last Monday, in violation of Freedom of Peaceful Assembly Act.
