President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu says that e-wallet services – one of his electoral pledges – will launch in the Maldives in May by the latest.
On the Q&A platform ‘Raeesge Javaab’ on Thursday, Abdulla Inan, a resident of Male’ City, asked the president for an update about the launch of e-wallet services.
President Muizzu said that the administration is working swiftly to facilitate e-wallet services, and hopes to introduce it within May by the latest.
“E-wallet services will be introduced within May by the latest,” he said.
