Three in serious condition after Male’ motorbike crash

Two motorbikes crashed into each other in an accident in Male’ City on Wednesday night, leaving three people seriously injured.

According to a police spokesperson, the accident took place outside the Villa College campus at around 11:26 pm Wednesday.

Three people on the motorbikes – two men and one woman – sustained injuries in the accident and were taken to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

“The police have been informed that all three are in serious condition,” said the spokesperson.

Both vehicles were damaged in the accident.

The accident is under investigation by the police.
