Police investigate attack on RDC chief

The police have launched an investigation, after Moosa Ali Manik (Mookey), the managing director of Road Development Corporation (RDC), was reportedly attacked and issued death threats.

A police spokesperson said the case was reported to the authorities on Monday night.

Mookey shared a photo of his alleged assailant in a post on X.

According to Mookey, he had been driving his motorcycle with one of his children on Monday evening when the man cursed, assaulted and threatened to kill them.

He said he reported the incident to the police.
