Fuvahmulah gang violence: Three suspects remanded in custody for 15 days

Four people have been arrested in connection to gang violence in Fuvahmulah City on early Saturday morning, of which one has been granted conditional release.

Briefing media on the latest updates on the case, Police said four suspects were arrested under a court order. Police did not disclose where the suspects were arrested.

Police further said three of the suspects, when presented before the court, were remanded in custody for 15 days while the remaining suspect was granted conditional release.

The identities of the suspects have not been disclosed by the police.

The gang violence was reported to police at approximately 12:30am on Saturday morning.

A 36-year-old who was injured was treated at Fuvahmula Hospital and was brought to Male’ for further treatment earlier today.
