Young man dies doing electrical works at Fuvahmulah site

A young man died on Thursday, while working at a construction site in Fuvahmulah City.

The death of Abdulla Rishdhan, 27, Abadha’hiyaage, R. Alifushi, was reported to the police at around 12:11 pm.

According to the police, Rishdhan was taken to the Fuvahmulah Hospital after he collapsed while doing work at a construction site in the city.

“He had visible injuries on his face,” added a police spokesperson.

The city’s mayor, Ismail Rafeeq told Sun that Rishdhan had been doing electrical works at the site.

However, he did not say if Rishdhan died as a result of electrocution.

The death is under investigation by the police.
