Land being leased from Fuvahmulah’s harbor area for tourism

The Fuvahmulah City Council has invited bids for land plots available from the island’s harbor area for tourism.

According to an announcement posted by the city council, bid documents are available for USD 100.

Bid documents will be available for purchase until 01:00 pm on September 11. Those who wish to get bid documents were asked to email their information, such as the company’s name, contact number and email, to the council’s procurement unit at [email protected].

The council added that only those who purchase bid documents by the deadline will be allowed to enter the bidding. Each party will be allowed to submit only one bid.

An information session will be held at the city council’s meeting room at 11:00 am on September 12. And the bids will be submitted and unsealed at the meeting room at 09:00 am on September 17.

Fuvahmulah City is a popular tourist destination, especially among diving enthusiasts.
