Fisherman injured by boat propeller getting treatment

The injuries were sustained by a man over 45 years, on a GA.Kanduhulhudhoo dhoani named “Gallery Vision”.

The man received a range of smaller and bigger injuries in this incident. This includes injuries to shoulder blades, shins and knees.

Speaking with Sun, the president of Kandulhulhudhoo Council Thoriq Afeef said that the incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The victim was initially taken to Gdh. Gahdhoo Hospital, however, was transported to Gdh. Thinadhoo for further treatment.

The council president said that the man was injured while attempting to untangle a rope that was wrapped around the propellers.

Additionally, Thoriq revealed that efforts were underway to take him to Male’ City for treatment.
