Police search for fraudster who stole MVR 150,000

Police are searching for a man suspected of stealing MVR 150,000 from a person through fraud. 

Police issued a public announcement seeking help to bring in Mohamed Unais, 31, Gasfinolhu, K. Kaashidhoo for the investigation into the crime on Wednesday morning. 

Police said that the current whereabouts of the suspect is unknown, leaving the agency unable to serve summons instructing him to present himself for questioning. 

Unais has been instructed to present himself to the Th. Guraidhoo Police Station, or a police station nearest to the Guraidhoo Police Station, by September 5.
