JP replaces Abdulla Riyaz with Ali Hussain on Security Services Committee

Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain has been appointed to the Parliament’s Security Services Committee as a representative of Jumhoory Party (JP). 

He replaces Thimarafushi MP Abdulla Riyaz, who left JP for Maldives National Party (MNP) in July.

Ali Hussain’s appointment to Security Services Committee was announced by Deputy Speaker, North Galolhu MP Eva Abdulla at the parliamentary sitting on Wednesday morning. 

Additional recent changes to the Security Services Committee includes reinstatement of MDP parliamentarians – Central Henveiru MP Ali Azim and Hulhudhoo MP Ilyas Labeeb to the committee. 

Their reinstatement to the committee was announced last Tuesday.
