Migrant worker arrested for burglary

A migrant worker has been arrested by police for attempted burglary.

The man arrested was a 28-year old Bangladeshi national. He was detained by officers on patrol from the Galolhu district Police as he attempted to break into a shop in Bodu Fungadu Magu around 3:00.

 Police stated that the man did not manage to steal anything and he is still in custody. The case is under investigation by the police.

Separately, Police recently arrested a migrant worker who was running a guesthouse illegally.
