Hulhumalé Hospital has announced the resumption of its outpatient services after a six-hour interruption following a power outage earlier today.

Due to a technical issue to the hospital’s main electrical panel, outpatient services were temporarily relocated to the General Practice Clinic at Hiyaa Flat 16 in Hulhumalé Phase II.

The hospital’s spokesperson confirmed to Sun that the technical issue was swiftly resolved, while all of hospital's services have now resumed as normal.

The hospital expressed its gratitude to its staff, the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), and the State Electric Company (STELCO) for their support in restoring operations.
