Police seeks to hire security analysts for MVR 22,000 salary

Maldives Police Service is seeking to hire four security analysts for its Cyber Crime Centre for a salary of MVR 22,000.

According to an announcement made by the Police, those applying for the post must be between 18 and 40. They must have attained a Level 7 or Level 8 certification in the field of computer science, information security of related field accepted by Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) or attained a Level 5 or Level 6 certification in the field of computer science, information security of related field accepted by MQA with two years of work experience in a related field.

Other requirements include:

  • Must be able-bodied to fulfill the responsibilities entailed by the post
  • Must not have been convicted of a punishable offense under the Islamic religions or crimes such as theft, fraud, drug use, drug trafficking or corruption within the past five years
  • Must not have sought rehabilitation for an addiction to a banned drug within the past five years

Individuals selected for the post will receive a total of MVR 22,000 in including allowance. The salary breakdown is as follows:

  • Basic salary: MVR 7,000
  • Service allowance: MVR 2,700
  • Non-practice allowance: MVR 2,450 (35 percent of basic salary)
  • Overtime: MVR 4,2000 per month (60 percent of basic salary)
  • Food allowance: MVR 60
  • Medical allowance

 

The deadline to submit applications for the post is 16:00pm on next week’s Monday. The job application form is available of Maldives Police Service’s website. The job application, along with the necessary documents, must be submitted to the reception of Shaheed Hussain Adam Building.
