The Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has launched its Income Tax Assistance Program 2025 on April 6th, Sunday.

According to the revenue and taxation authority, this program aims at providing assistance to individuals and businesses in completing their income tax reports.

MIRA added that its target audience of the program are taxpayers who are required to submit a tax return for 2024 with a total income of less than MVR 10 million.

The program that commenced on Sunday, will last until June 15, 2025.

The program will proceed via telephone, email and through other online communication channels, MIRA added.

Individuals and businesses that fall within the criteria, and who prefer completing their financials in “cash basis” and require support can message to MIRA’s Viber number at 9821415.

Those who wish to register for the program can submit their names either via email at [email protected], by contacting MIRA’s hotline 1415, or via the live chat function on MIRA’s official website.
