Fight breaks out in Hulhumale’ Phase II

A fight broke out, and was reported from Hulhumale’ Phase II on Saturday evening.

Maldives Police Service confirms receiving report of a fight breaking out in Phase II, but did not share further details about the incident. Police however, added they were investigating the case.

Reports of the brawl in Phase II had come not long after a fight broke out in Artificial Beach, Male’ City between a group of expatriates on Friday evening. Police arrested three Indian individuals in the case and had the handed over to Immigration.

Maldives Immigration on Saturday had confirmed they were now working on deporting all three foreigners, while the Controller General of Immigration in a post on X said the authority will not tolerate such occurrences.

Police has received a total of seven reports of assault so far in 2025.
