Police detain naked man from Hulhumale’ Skatepark

A young man was detained by police from the Hulhumale’ Skatepark on Monday, where he was found walking around naked.

A video of the incident shows the man, naked except for a pair of sunglasses and sandals, walking around inside the park while casually smoking a cigarette, with his t-shirt hanging over the railing of the park’s ramp, and a backpack and helmet on the ground. When confronted by some members of the public, he takes the t-shirt from the railing and puts it on.

The police said that the man, identified as a Maldivian citizen, has been taken into custody.

The police are looking into this, said a spokesperson.
