Fire breaks out at vacant accommodation block in Hulhumale’

A huge fire has broken out at an accommodation block located in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

The fire was reported to the authorities at 04:01 pm on Sunday.

According to the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the accommodation block where the fire broke out is currently unoccupied.

Firefighters from the Hulhumale’ Fire Station are at the scene trying to put out the blaze.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
