441 students receive Top Achievers’ Award

441 students have received Top Achievers’ Award for their exemplary academic achievements in the higher examinations 2022-2023.

Notably, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attended all three sessions of the award ceremony marking the first time a President has attended all the sessions. The President’s Office states the President’s participation in all sessions underscored the importance the current administration “laces on the progress of the education sector and on building a generation of able youth progressing towards a path of prosperity”.

A total of 441 students received awards at the ceremony including 376 students who ranked in the top ten from the A’ Level examinations in 2022-2023 and students who secured top rank globally in the O’ Level examinations.

18 students secured top rank globally while 12 students were ranked the highest nationally and 27 students received A’ Level Certificate of Excellence.

Meanwhile, 25 students secured top rank globally in the O’ Level examinations while 23 students ranked highest nationally.

President Muizzu presented awards and certificates to students who secured the top rank globally and the prestigious national top ten.

Over 7,000 students sat for the O’ Level examinations in 2022-2022 while over 2,800 students sat for the A’ Level examinations.
