Maldives chef Issaq Solih has showcased his talent by delivering a slew of Maldivian cuisines at the second International Food and Agriculture Expo in Karachi, Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Trade Development Authority (TDA) has organized the expo that serves as an international arena to showcase world cuisine and culinary offerings, said Chefs’ Guild Maldives.
Chefs’ Guild Maldives Vice President and renowned local chef Issaq Shafeeq has hosted a special master class presentation highlighting his exceptional culinary bravura. He is visiting this year’s expo on the invitation of TDA, the guild added.
During Saturday’s master class presentation, Issaq showcased a slew of Maldivian tastes, from popular short eats to other delectable cuisines such as jackfruit pudding, curries, and other traditional dishes.
Issaq, the recipient of Best Executive Chef Award and Long Service Special Award at the CGM Chefs’ Awards 2022, currently works as the Executive Chef of Royal Island Resort.
