Chef’s Guild of Maldives held a culinary workshop today, in collaboration with an American trade association, US Meat Export Federation.
As per the Chef’s Guild, the workshop was held on the first-floor hall of Champa Central Hotel from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Famous US chef, Jay McCarthy participated in the workshop and shared his valuable experience and other information.
In addition to Chef Jay, other famous chefs such as UAE’s Peter de Kauwe, and Maldivian chefs Ishaaq Solih and Ahmed Samaan also gave information at the workshop.
The Chefs Guild said more than 60 people from the culinary industry, including chefs and suppliers, attended the workshop.
The workshop provided information on beef and how to prepare beef.
“Today's training session ended very successfully,” the Chefs Guild said.
The US Meat Export Federation is a non-profit trade association that works to promote US-raised land-dwelling animal meat products in the international market.
The Chefs Guild was registered in 2014 to promote the work of local Maldivian chefs
