Car falls to sea amid loading to boat

A car being loaded into a vessel docked at L. Fonadhoo has fallen into the harbor channel.

Maldives Police Service, confirming the incident with local media said they received the report around 19:05hrs on Saturday evening.

No one was reported injured in the incident, while the vehicle has now been loaded to the vessel.

There have been a number of incidents involving vehicles falling into harbor channels either due to loss of control or by other mishaps.
