Fight breaks out in Hulhumale’; two injured

A fight broke out between two groups in Hulhumale’ on Monday, leaving two people injured.

A police spokesperson said that the fight, which took place at the Central Park in Hulhumale’ Phase I, was reported to the police at around 09:00 pm.

According to the spokesperson, the fight broke out between a group of Maldivians and a group of Indians at the park.

Two people were taken to the Hulhumale’ Hospital with injuries.

A Maldivian male was arrested in connection to the incident, said the spokesperson.

The police said they are working on identifying the people involved in the fight.
