President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has promised to transform Dhaalu atoll Kudahuvadhoo as an urban center for the area.

"So, out of these seven urban centers that I have said, Kudahuvadhoo will become one," Dr. Muizzu announced.

He further promised to upgrade the island's harbor and establish a commercial harbor as per the wishes of the locals.

Additionally, the president pledged to upgrade the island's hospital, execute a social housing program, and either establish or upgrade other crucial services and facilities under a long-term developmental plan.
