MWSC staff raise MVR 500,000 for Palestinians in Gaza

The state-owned MWSC has donated half a million rufiyaa to the Palestinian Muslim Relief Fund.

MWSC's Managing Director Hassan Shah handed over the money at a ceremony held today.

The company said it donated MVR 500,000 to the Palestinian people to symbolize its presence with the people of the country.

In addition, the company said its management and employees are ready to help Palestinians achieve a lasting peace.

Many Maldivian organizations and private individuals are working to provide assistance to the Palestinian people in the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

Therefore, various businesses and companies as well as individuals in different parts of Maldives are conducting various activities to help Palestine.

More than 11,000 people have been killed in Israel's inhuman attacks on Gaza. More than 27,000 people were injured as well.

These war crimes have already cost the lives of innocent civilians and destroyed vital buildings such as hospitals, schools, aid agencies, residential buildings and mosques.
