Muizzu urges unity for national progress

The country needs peace and everyone should be united to move this country forward, President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said today.

Muizzu said this in a special message on the occasion of Republic Day.

The President-elect further said that the people will enjoy the sweetness of a republican government only if they work together with the government and by putting the country first.

He also thanked all the presidents who worked to bring the republican system to this point.

He also extended his greetings to the Presidents, Cabinet ministers, businessmen, political party leaders and all those who have brought the country and the republican government to this point.
