SSTV, on Thursday, has signed as the exclusive media partner for International Magic Festival; an event being held in the Maldives for the first time ever.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) pertaining to the partnership was signed by SSTV’s Chief Content Office Mohamed Zaheen and International Magic Festival’s organizer, EventMart’s Managing Director Ahmed Amjadh.
The signing was attended by local famous magician and the president of the Maldives Magic Association Mohamed Shareef.

Amjadh, who also spoke at the signing, said the festival will feature two main events.
“Two main events; one being the competition and the second day, being a gala award night. This will include presenting prizes to winners among other things,” he said.
Amjadh detailed that eight countries are participating in the festival including India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, South Korea, Indonesia and Thailand.
He noted that attendees must purchase a ticket to enter the festival. In this regard, ticket reservation has been opened today, which can be booked at Olympus or online.
Amjadh said winners from the competition will be awarded trophies and prize money.
The gala night will also feature magic shows from talented foreign magicians, he added.
Speaking further, Amjadh noted support received from sponsors for the event, in addition to SSTV as the exclusive media partner.

In addition to this, the title sponsor, One and Only Reethi Rah. Signing with other sponsors is ongoing. Will share with the media following execution,” he said.
Amjadh thanked SSTV for all efforts to promote the International Magic Festival, after becoming an exclusive partner.
Zaheen, who also spoke at the signing, cited SSTV’s main responsibility for the event as bringing the festival to the public’s eye.
“Promoting the festival is also one of our responsibilities. God willing, we will do it to our best capacity. It is an honor for us, the fact that so many prominent foreign magicians are coming for the event. Alongside them, we will broadcast their magical talents,” he said.
