Sun Siyam Media (SS Media) has partnered with Qibla Hajj and Umrah Group for a quiz program which will be broadcast this Ramadan on SSTV, featuring and Umrah trip as the prize.
The partnership agreement was signed by SS Media’s CEO Mohamed Asif and Qibla Group’s Managing Director Yameen Idrees.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, SS Media’s CEO Asif SSTV will broadcast a quiz program throughout this Ramadan where viewers can compete to win an Umrah trip by answering questions on the topic of religion.
“Qibla Group will be giving away Umrah trip to the winner of a draw taken among the individuals who have gotten the most questions right. The Umrah trip, this opportunity is being facilitated in a very flexible manner where the winner can choose to travel at a time convenient for them over the course of the next year,” he said.
According to Qibla Group, as the program is broadcast during Ramadan, questions in the competition will be linked to Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah.
The program is open to people of all ages. Each day of Ramadan, a question will be presented in a multiple-choice format.
“Apart from Umrah-related matters, our company also highly prioritized assisting in matters related to religion in the Maldives, especially when it comes to increasing religious knowledge among the general public,” Yameen said.
Asif said viewers will be able to answer the question via SSTV and its social media handles.
He cited the purpose of broadcasting such a program during Ramadan as encouraging more people to participate in religious-related activities during the holy month.
