Bidding opened for resort development at Nalandhoo a 2nd time

Tourism Ministry has opened bidding for the development of a tourist resort in Sh. Nalandhoo for a second time.

The Ministry invited bids in an announcement on Thursday. Prospective bidders have been asked to participate in an information session slated for 11:00am on Tuesday morning, via Zoom.

The submission of bids, meanwhile, has been slated for 10:00am on November 6th.

Prospective bidders who wish to partake in the Zoom information session have been instructed to send an email to [email protected] before 12:00pm on Monday, detailing their email address and phone number.

Nalandhoo, measuring in 80 hectares, was previously leased to cultivate sea cucumbers. President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has pledged to develop a resort on the island, following which bidding for the development of a resort was opened initially in August.
