Villa College holds blood donation drive

Villa College, on Monday, has held a blood donation drive in conjunction with the college’s 16^th anniversary.

The blood donation drive kicked off at 2:00pm Sunday afternoon, at the Thalassemia Centre.

The event, held in collaboration with Maldives Blood Service, was spearheaded by Villa College Student Association, Villa College Business Society, Psychology Association of Villa College and Law Association of Villa College.

Both students and staff at Villa College volunteered to donate blood.

Villa College cited the purpose of holding such an event as to foster a culture of social responsibility and volunteerism among its students and staff.
