TfG partners with Cancer Society to support cancer patients

The Total Fitness Group (TfG) and the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) signed a partnership agreement on Monday, to support cancer patients and raise public awareness regarding cancer.

According to TfG, the agreement pertains to raising funds to combat cancer through this year’s edition of the Maldives Long Run – an annual marathon and half-marathon organized by the TfG to promote health and fitness.

The agreement was signed by TfG’s CEO Hassan Zinan and CSM’s organizing secretary Razzan Mohamed.

The TfG holds three runs each year. The last one for the year – the Maldives Long Run – is scheduled for December 8.

The CSM aims to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer in the Maldives by creating awareness about cancer, and by providing support and circulating information and resources so as to enhance the experience of people fighting against cancer.

The non-profit asked as many people as possible to join their fight against cancer.

The TfG opened its new fitness center at M. Haivakaruge in Male’, equipped with an inhouse café sports store, and a gym for children.
