MTCC releases RTL high-speed ferry service rates for Huvadhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has released the rates for the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) high-speed ferry service it launched in Huvadhoo Atoll last week.

According to the information published on the Government Gazette on Sunday, the rates range from MVR 35-MVR 125.

According to MTCC, total 1,030 passengers used the RTL service in Huvadhoo Atoll between Wednesday – when it was launched - and Sunday morning.

The service in Huvadhoo Atoll is being provided by a fleet of six high-speed ferries which are travelling nine different routes. MTCC’s CEO Adam Azim has announced plans to expand the fleet.

The RTL ferry service – part of a government initiative to link the entire Maldives with a reliable transport network – is currently being provided in six atolls; HA. Atoll, HDh. Atoll, Sh. Atoll, Sh. Atoll, GA. Atoll, and GDh. Atoll.
