Finance Ministry instructs to deposit salaries of civil servants before 22nd

Finance Ministry, on Tuesday, has instructed all government offices to deposit the salaries of employees before 22nd of this month.

In a circular issued on Tuesday, the Ministry, referring to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s decision to declare June 25th to June 29th as government holidays, said the last date the Ministry will process June’s salaries is June 22nd.

Further instructions by the Finance Ministry;

  • Government offices using state’s accounting software ‘Accounts Payable Module’ to post the salary on the system before 2:00pm on June 19th
  • Government offices using state’s accounting software ‘HR Module’ to post the salary on the system before June 18th

Salaries of government employees are usually deposited between 28th and 30th of this month. With the decision to declare June 25th to July 1st as government holidays, the government offices will reopen on July 2nd
