Urbanco to hold cleanup program in Hulhumale’

Urbanco has decided to hold a cleanup program in Hulhumale’ in celebration of World Environment Day.

Urbanco said the cleanup program, held under the corporation’s ‘Dhuniye Magey’ campaign, will be held on Saturday.

The program will begin at the Channel Park Beach area at 07:30 am.

Total seven areas in residential areas of Phase I and Phase II will be cleaned under the program.

The program will end after watersports activities, at 10:45 am.

According to Urbanco, the schools in the greater Male’ area, government offices and ministries are set to participate in the event.

Urbanco’s ‘Dhuniye Magey’ campaign is aimed at raising awareness on climate change and environmental protection. Multiple programs are planned throughout the year under the campaign.
