SSTV signs as media partner for Dhiggaru Ekuveri Madhaha competition

Sun Siyam Media’s SSTV, on Monday, signed on as the media partner for one the biggest competition held in M. Dhiggaru; ‘Ekuveri Madhaha 1444’.

The competition, organized by local association Dhiggaru Ekuveru Zuvaanunge Gulhun (DEZG), will take place through this Thursday till next week’s Wednesday.

Under the partnership agreement – SSTV will broadcast the Madhaha entries of participants in the competition who have qualified for the second round.

Furthermore, the channel will broadcast the grand finale of the competition scheduled for next week’s Wednesday.

SS Media’s Chief Content Officer Mohamed Zaheen said the media outlet prioritizes increasing religious content during the holy month of Ramadan.

“We also wish to integrate sounds and scenes from atolls to SSTV’s content. A large percentage of SSTV’s content is allocated for atolls. There is the opportunity for youths based in islands to showcase their creative content through this TV,” he said.

In this trajectory, SSTV’s Ramadan special ‘Kaaniva’ show’s kid segment is slated to go live from Dhiggaru where locals can participate in the show. 

SSTV has brought several competitions held across atolls to its viewers over the course of this Ramadan.

They include HA. Dhidhdhoo’s ‘Emme Aligadha Thari’ Quran competition and Zikura International College’s oratory competition on religious topics.
