Over 40 businesses in Maldives – including registered businesses and home-based businesses – are showcasing their wares at a massive exhibition in Fuvahmulah City – the Rashi Baazaar 2023.

The bazar, organized by the Fuvahmulah City’s Women’s Development Committee in collaboration with the Fuvahmulah City Council, began on Friday and will continue until Wednesday.

The bazar is open from 08:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the local youth center.

An official from the Fuvahmulah City Council told Sun that the bazar is aimed at big and small businesses, home-based businesses and other types of businesses that operate in the southern city.

He said that the main purpose of the bazar is to offer people the chance to purchase products at a lower price than usually available in the market, and to offer a wide range of choice all in one place.

“The main purpose of this bazar is to offer a platform where the products from businesses and home-based businesses in this island can be sold at an affordable price,” said the official.
