No arrest yet in torching of Hulhumale’ police car

Police have yet to make an arrest in connection to the torching of a parked police car in suburban Hulhumale’ earlier this week, states a police spokesperson.

The incident took place behind the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) building in Hulhumale’ on Monday.

It was reported to police around 07:40 pm.

The fire was put out within minutes, according to the police.

A police spokesperson told Sun the investigation hasn’t made much progress.

No arrests have been made yet, confirmed the spokesperson.
