Two wanted in drug trafficking case

The police, on Sunday, asked for public assistance in locating two people who failed to appear in court in a cannabis trafficking case.

They are:

• Ibrahim Irufan, 21, Haivakaruge, Th. Vilufushi
• Ushan Adnan, 26, Dhafthar no. 521, K. Male’

According to police, they are searching for the two men in response to an order issued by the Criminal Court to produce them before the court in police custody, for a hearing at 02:00 pm September 20.

Police asked for anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the police custodial department at 9991442.

The police took the opportunity to thank the public for their support in such matters.
