Top students of Bandidhoo School for 2019, 2020 awarded

Bandidhoo School has awarded the best all-around students for the years 2019 and 2020.

While Muneeza Mohamed scooped up the honour for 2019, for 2020 it was Mariyam Rashfa Rameez.

Muneeza also won the Class Prize, and subject prize in Islam and Chemistry for the year 2019.

Awards won by Muneeza:

-       Distinction Award

-       Top Achievers Award

-       Top scorer from school from O’Level examinations

-       Best all around

-       Top results from five subjects in O’Level and SSC examinations

In addition to the best all-around award in 2020, Rashfa also won the Class Prize and subject prize from Quran and Islam.

The students were awarded during the Prize Day ceremony held by Bandidhoo School on Friday.

Students who scored various awards and prizes for the years 2019 and 2020 were celebrated.

Parliament member for Dh. Meedhoo constituency Ahmed Siyam Mohamed was the guest of honour at the ceremony.

Addressing the students, Siyam expressed gratitude to the students who got the top scores. He also spoke encouragingly to those who did not this time around, advising them to not give up.

Additionally, he stated that despite having gained much education, if the individual lacks discipline, that knowledge gained is of no use.
