Avid College on Tuesday opened application for May intake, with a chance to win a Turkey trip for applicants.
During a ceremony held at Avid College, Chairman Abdulla Mushtaq Rashad said that they have commenced accepting applications from today onwards.
He highlighted that those applying for the May intake will be in a lucky draw, where the winner will get a trip to Turkey from Avid College.
Noting that the college already offers numerous courses, Mushtaq revealed that they are working to bring new programmes to Maldives.
Currently, Avid College offers over 70 different programmes – all of which are Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA) approved.
Under their Business Management Faculty, Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resource Management and Information Technology programmes are available for both bachelors and masters’ students.
Meanwhile, Humanity and Social Science Faculty offer Psychology and Counselling programmes, Education Faculty offers Primary Teaching, Early Childhood Education and Special Education programmes.
They also have Masters of Leadership and Management, and Masters of Education and Inclusive Education programmes.
Additionally, under the Faculty of Islamic Studies, students are offered, Bachelors of Shariah and Law, Diploma in Teaching Quran and Masters of Teaching Islam.
Their Faculty of Foundation Studies has a variety of programmes as well. These include Certificate Level three and four, Human Resource Management, Early Childhood Education and Information Technology.
Avid College stated that the most ‘special’ programme offered by the college was its Master of Research Studies.
Following the global pandemic COVID-19, the college moved all of its classes online and continued to teach that way.
