Avid College conducts one-day seminar with 40 participants

Avid College has conducted a one-day seminar.

The seminar was held on last Wednesday, following Avid College’s certification as an IATA (International Air Transport Association) Authorized Training Center in Maldives on last Monday.

Titled ‘Perspective and Future Avenues for Travel and Aviation Industry’; the seminar an information exchange targeted towards individuals in relevant sectors.

Avid College described the seminar as a success. They detailed that 40 individuals from relevant sectors took part in the seminar.

Main topics discussed in the similar included of IATA’s role in the aviation industry and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the travel industry.

Avid College also noted that advantages of IATA certification and the role of an IATA authorized training center was highlighted during the seminar.

The main speaker of the seminar was IATA’s Regional Training Business Development Manager - South Asia Lokesh Matta.

The seminar was also attended by Avid College’s Chairman Abdulla Musthag Rashad, Rector Dr. Suneena Rasheed and other senior staff.

Avid College stressed that arrangements required to commence IATA courses were being carried out at a speedy pace.

Avid College is one of the biggest higher education institutive operating in the Maldives.
