MDP thanks Chairperson Hassan Latheef for his services

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) expressed gratitude towards the services of MP Hassan Latheef has as the party’s Chairperson.

Hassan Latheef took office on February 12, 2017, and hence his term as Chairperson concluded on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Notably, he is the only person to have fulfilled the five-year term as Chairperson.

MDP stated that during his tenure, Hassan brought many great changes to the administrative structure of the party.

Additionally, MDP highlighted his work to maintain a peaceful work environment within administrative employees, strengthen various branches of the party, increase membership and maintain MDP as the biggest political party in the Maldives.

“As the Chairperson, he showed leadership even during the previous administration’s violent attacks by organizing political events to the highest degree.”

“Under his administration, one of the most important targets of the party: partaking and winning different national elections was achieved.”

Expressing gratitude for all his work, MDP wished more success and achievements for Hassan Latheef. 

MDP has opened candidacy for the position of the party’s chairperson, along with positions within the Women’s Wing and Youth Wing on Saturday.
