IGMH brings changes to laboratory services

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has brought changes to its laboratory services hours.

According to the announcement released by the hospital, from Sunday, February 13 onwards, normal service hours will resume for OPD.

With this, the laboratory will be open for blood tests from morning 08:00 am till 16:00 pm on all weekdays.

IGMH had slashed hours and brought major changes to the running of the hospital following the surge of COVID-19 cases in the country from the beginning of this year.

The hospital had even halted routine surgeries at the time but has not resumed those services as well.

Currently, there are 16,161 active cases in the country, and to date, a total of 158,031 people have tested positive for COVID.

HPA stated that right now 41 patients are seeking hospitalized care.
