Three arrested over arson attack on motorcycles in Kulhudhuffushi

Maldives Police Service has stated that they have arrested three suspects over an arson attack on motorcycles kept parked at a house in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi.

The arson attack which destroyed two cycles beyond repair and left one other significantly damaged was reported back on June 11.

Three suspects arrested include a 43-year-old male, 35-year-old male and a 36-year-old male.

The 43-year-old was arrested on June 27; the 35-year-old on June 26 and the 36-year-old on June 24.

During the remand hearings of the three suspects, the 43-year-old was remanded for 5 days; the 35-year-old remanded for 10 days and the 36-year-old remanded for 15 days.

The Police detailed further that both the 35-year-old and the 36-year-old had criminal records in cases related to theft, robbery, drugs, and violence.
