Police: Woman injured in accident was overrun by van

Police have said that the woman injured in an accident last night was overrun by the van which collided with the motorcycle she was on. 

The accident happened around 18:08 last night. Police said that the van traveling on Boduthakurufaanu Magu collided with the motorcycle with two women.

Out of the two women, the individual on the backseat received serious injuries after being overrun by the van. 

IGMH media officials said that the woman was in serious condition and was receiving treatment at the ICU of the hospital. Both drivers of the vehicles involved had their driver’s licenses, according to police who added that the case was under investigation.
