Public safety programs have been conducted for health workers in resorts by the Tourism Ministry and the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
The purpose of the series of online programs is to increase the safety of tourists during the pandemic. 137 participants took part in the fourth series of the program held last Sunday.
Tourism Ministry of the Maldives stresses the importance in adhering to the safety guidelines of the HPA in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Maldivian borders were also reopened on July 15 after stringent safety measures were introduced to the nation. Technical aspects of these practices are conducted for participants at these safety programs.
